8/6/12 - A message from the AAU National Office regarding Club Memberships

There has been some clarification on the registration process pertaining to purchasing/registering a club membership.

The chicken will come first!  Or maybe it is the Egg?

The Non Athlete membership will need to be purchased before a club membership can be obtained.

When anyone clicks to purchase a club membership, they will be required to enter their membership id and zip code.

This means they cannot do both during the same transaction.  The adult or non athlete membership must be background screened and cleared and assigned a member id before they can move forward and purchase the club.

When the adult or non athlete member enters their member ID and zip code it will auto populate the contact information on the club, they will be able to enter other membership IDs to list more contacts on the club.

Once again we need your help to disseminate this information to our club directors.

We will be changing the information on the blast emails and the internet.  Our BE PREPARED  campaign is off and running!

Again thank you for all you do!

Jean Christy
National Registration Chair

9/7/11

Greetings to Arkansas AAU Athletes & Coaches,

First of all, on behalf of the Arkansas AAU Executive Team, we will like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation for your participation in this year’s AAU program. As a result of your support, the participation totals for active clubs for the various sports were as following: Athletics (T & F): 15, Boys Basketball: 74, Girls Basketball: 20, Diving: 2, Swimming: 26. Coaches, it is due to your countless hours and the sacrifices of your time, talents, & resources that continue to make a positive difference in the lives of our athletes. I am confident; each one of our athletes had a very positive & productive season. Hopefully, each one of you as athletes can look back over this past season and identify the progress made in your overall athletic & personal development. We look forward to your continue participation & support of our AAU programs as we continue to expand & develop our existent & new sports.

Congratulations to all of our clubs & unattached athletes for your outstanding performances throughout the 2011 season @ the state, regional, & national levels.

In closing, please join me in giving a big thanks to our Sports Directors & State Officers for the leadership they have provided this past season. We have an awesome & talented team.

Sincerely,

Larry G. Bryant, Arkansas Governor
